Maggie McGrath, Ripplez Non-Executive Director Chair, Ripplez CIC

I have extensive experience in developing, improving and managing children's services, as well as wider work on service redesign, efficiency and improvement. I am a registered social worker and hold a rare combination of social care values and business rigour. 
After 25 years in various roles within Children's Services working in the midlands, I set up a consultancy business and I have undertaken a wide range of improvement and transformational projects in children's, adult's and health organisations across the country. I am particularly passionate about improving outcomes for children, young people and families and I am proud to be the chair of Ripplez supporting the organisation's developments as the offer has extended over recent years.

Mark Thompson, Ripplez CIC, Non-Executive Director, Board Member“I am the Finance Director at Silicone Altimex Limited a Company that provides elastomeric solutions to medical device and bio-pharma manufacturers.

Prior to this I worked for PwC both in Audit and Transaction Services where I gained many years experience across all industry sectors and worked with a broad range of businesses from small, owner managed companies, to supporting clients in complex cross-border transactions. I am a qualified ICAEW Chartered Accountant.

I am very proud to have been involved with Ripplez for over three years as a non-exec director, providing both financial and commercial insight and support. It is fantastic to be involved with such a socially supportive organisation which makes a difference to the lives and well-being of so many people.”

I am an engineer and have been involved with improving business performance for over 20 years and with Ripplez as a Non-Executive Director since 2011. I am immensely proud of everyone within the business and the huge impact that they make on the lives of our clients. The organisation has developed so much over the time that I have been with it, changing to meet the different needs of the community and the funding that has been available.

It is to the immense credit of everyone within Ripplez that it has been able to change and yet maintain the core principles with which it was set up. I am now working in software development with a particular interest in digital transformation within businesses. It will be interesting to see how Ripplez embraces these particular opportunities and challenges as it moves forward into its next stage of development.
