About us Who we are Our teams Derby Community Parent Programme "Working together to empower people to live their best lives through pregnancy, birth and beyond." Delivered by Ripplez, the Derby Community Parent Programme offers mothers, fathers, grandparents and carers volunteering opportunities to meet vulnerable and hard to reach expectant and new parents at outreach sessions. These outreach sessions facilitate access to our services, other local services, and provide evidence based information to help them have a happy and healthy pregnancy. Our 'Pregnancy Pals' and 'Birth Buddies' undertake 26 weeks of training and have the opportunity to gain valuable skills and experience from first-hand contact with a range of health care professionals. Pregnancy Pals and Birth Buddies offer one to one peer support to expectant and new parents, continuing up until when the baby is three months old. If you feel you need some information and support during your pregnancy, please follow the link below to complete our contact form. A member of our team will be in touch.
