The Derby Community Parent Programme (DCPP) volunteers support expectant and new parents in their local communities, regardless of circumstances. The volunteers provide community based peer support and evidenced-based information to support parents through pregnancy and early-parenthood.
DCPP provides a range of support services for new and expectant parents, including:
Pregnancy Pals and Birth Buddies offer one to one peer support to expectant parents throughout pregnancy, during labour, birth, and up to when the baby is three months old. This support is informal, strengths-based and non-judgemental.
If you think these services could help you, you can find out more about The DCPP here, as well as find contact information here.
Or if you are interested in supporting parents through pregnancy, birth and early parenthood by becoming a Pregnancy Pal or a Birth Buddy, follow the volunteer link here.
