Volunteers under the Derby Community Parent Programme (DCPP) support vulnerable and hard to reach expectant and new parents in their local communities. The DCPP outreach sessions present access to our service, other available local services and evidence based information to help parents have a happy and healthy pregnancy.
Pregnancy Pals and Birth Buddies offer one to one peer support to expectant parents throughout pregnancy, during labour, birth and up to when the baby is three months old. This support is semi-structured, strengths-based, and aims to build community capacity.
If you think this service could help you, please follow the link at the end of the page to find out more about contacting the DCPP.
